ABOUT ME

My Skills and Perspectives

I enjoy utilizing many different evidence based interventions based on your strengths, interests, and concerns. I am an EMDRIA certified clinician in EMDR Therapy and am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) for children and teenagers. I am trained in Triple p parenting and enjoy using different techniques such as mindfulness, gestalt play therapy, ACT, art, and talk therapy. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work in 2019. As a first generation immigrant of Arab parents and a Muslim, I know the importance of recognizing culture and both the intergeneration traumas and strengths that we carry. With that said I believe that the therapy space can be a place to explore topics of culture, race, religion and spirituality, political engagement, and other values and identities. All of these dynamics shape who we are and how we face challenges in life.

Common questions

How much does a session cost?

My fee ranges from $100–$180 for a 60-minute session, with a sliding-scale rate based on individual circumstances and agreed upon before we begin working together. I currently offer private-pay services and am in the process of pursuing credentialing with several insurance companies. In the meantime, I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan and benefits. If my rates are outside your budget, please don't let that stop you from reaching out. We can discuss whether a reduced fee or payment arrangement may be possible.

Do you offer online sessions?

Currently all sessions are conducted online via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. I've been providing telehealth for years across all age groups—kids, teens, and adults—and have adapted my interventions effectively for the virtual setting. You only need a device with video capability and a quiet, private space. For younger clients, I coordinate with parents or guardians as needed based on your child's treatment goals.

What services do you offer

Right now I offer individual therapy services for adults, children 2 years and up, and teenagers, as well as family therapy.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. What you share stays between us, within the standard ethical and legal limits we'll discuss in our first session.
